Jenny Jones. If this name means anything to you, you most likely graduated from Bangor Area High School between the years of 2004-2006. Jenny used to be a sweet, hysterical, outgoing, silly & caring girl who was disliked by none. Jenny is now a wife to Matt & a mother to Goldie, and lives on the other side of the country. She continues to be sweet, hysterical, outgoing, silly, caring, and is disliked by none.
Jenny reached out to me, not really for herself, but for a special friend of hers who has been through way too much tragedy. Being aware of this friend of hers and the suffering she has experienced, it didn't take me by surprise that Jenny would do something kind for a friend, knowing the type of person she has always been. But when I met up with her, I had a learned a great deal about the trials and tribulations Jenny herself has been through lately. When people are dealing with "stuff," but yet still have the ability to think of others, this speak volumes to me. It once again, reassures there is still a ton of good in this world and I am privileged enough to see it for myself. It also confirmed that though Jenny Jones' last name has changed, her kindness and compassion towards others has not.
In the last few years, Jenny & Matt were able to start a family. This blog is titled "Goldie," because let's be honest, once a child comes along, the universe is shifted in their favor. Goldie is this beautiful little curly haired girl- a spitting image of her mother. During our time together, Jenny and I tried to catch up on whatever was humanly possible while chasing down a very active toddler exploring her grandparents' property.
This was precisely what Jenny wanted to capture-Goldie making everlasting memories of the same exact place her mother is so fond of.
