So many times more than ever, clients show up to a shoot with their game faces on. Meaning, they are ready to smile, pose, and interact with each other in a loving way for the next hour of their lives. I envision (because I have been on this side before,) that on the car ride there, there are incentives and rewards promised for those that cooperate. (Nine times out of ten it's Rita's down the road.)
There was something different about this family though. It didn't feel like any of this happened en route, but that they were truly excited to be there, interacting with each other and loving on each other so organically. Nothing about it felt forced or prepared. And when there are 4 children under 4 years of age, this observation seems rather impossible to gather. But truly, it was made.
Lindsey reached out to me a few months back for some updated family photos. And yes, by the look of it, their family photos have been outdated rather quickly over the last few years. Lindsey and David have 5 children. Their oldest, Jayden, couldn't be more sweet and show more love towards his younger siblings. It was truly precious to see. TWO sets of twins later, they have a family of 7, and although thinking about having 5 kids makes my head spin, Lindsey & David seem to be not just surviving, but THRIVING. This beautiful family will forever stand out to me because of their fun and loving nature, not to mention their complete and utter adorableness. I hope I can continue to watch these little humans grow.
